Davidson, who hails from Jefferson, ME, is committed to supporting Maine’s farms and businesses. “We are working with a local cooper and have our first batch of barrel aged Ration Rum in a Maine-made barrel. This may be the first such barrel made in Maine in over 100 years. The maple syrup used in Queequeg Spiced Rum and Blueshine Blueberry Moonshine is definitely from Maine—and of course, Blueshine’s blueberries are too.”
The company has significant support in Maine—all but two of its investors reside here.
