As the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic passes and people shift back into old habits, Orro is eager to find a place within their consumers’ busy lives. The plant-based “mini-meals” brand, launched in 2021 with backing from beverage incubator L.A. Libations, aims to deliver a nutrient and protein-dense package (16 grams of pea protein, 300 calories per 11 oz. carton) in a convenient format.

The duo also discussed how Brown’s focus on authenticity marries with Neff’s own business strategy of partnering with influencers and celebrities to create and launch products that resonate with shoppers.
