International Bottled Water Association Announces New Board Members

IBWA LogoAlexandria, VA – The International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) announced the appointment of three new members of its Board of Directors during the 2014 IBWA June Board of Directors and Committee Meetings, held in Alexandria, Virginia, from June 9-12.

Andrew Eaton, PhD, (Eurofins Eaton Analytical), Heidi Paul (Nestle Waters North America), and Shayron Barnes-Selby (DS Services) were appointed to fill three open seats vacated by outgoing board members.  Heidi Paul has also been appointed to serve on IBWA’s Executive Committee.

  • As Vice President of Government Affairs & Quality Services for Atlanta, Georgia based DS Services, Shayron Barnes-Selby represents and promotes the interest of DS Services with regulators and legislators at the state and federal level, in addition to her duties related to product quality, safety and security for the company.  Shayron Barnes-Selby is a long-time IBWA member.  She currently serves as Co-Chair of the IBWA Government Relations Committee and is Treasurer of the IBWA Political Action Committee.
  • Dr. Eaton is Technical Director and Vice President at Eurofins Eaton Analytical, where he has served in multiple roles for nearly 35 years. Dr. Eaton is a Board Certified Environmental Scientist (BCES) and holds a Ph.D in Geochemistry from Harvard University.  Eurofins is one of the world’s largest laboratory networks, specializing in food, environmental, and pharmaceutical testing. He is a long-time IBWA member, current Co-Chair of the Technical Committee, and Trustee of the Drinking Water Research Foundation.
  • Heidi Paul is the Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs of Nestlé Waters North America and serves on the company’s executive board.  She is responsible for all aspects of corporate citizenship including environmental and community responsibility, corporate communications, and government relations. Heidi Paul’s long-time involvement with IBWA includes previously serving as Chair of the Communications Committee and the Strategic Action Planning Committee.
