My favorite

This root beer is awesome! Unfortunately I haven't seen it in about 10 years and have missed it dearly! Can't wait to try it again!

TASTES LIKE DISH SOAP!!! YUCK!!!

I was excited to try Henry Weinhard's Root Beer because of all of the favorable comments. I poured myself a glass. It has a nice head to it but to my utter horror it tasted like dish soap. I am not kidding either. It was awful. I bought a six pack so I had 5 left. 3 days later I tried it again hoping for better results. Unfortunately, I have to say I thought it was terrible. I will stick with my A&W. For the price I think it is hard to beat. That's A&W in the 2-Liter bottle - NOT the can. The can A&W is not that good. I will continue my search for that ultimate ROOT BEER. Henry's came up WAY WAY SHORT.

Top of the Pack!

I love making my own root beer but I feel Henry Weinhard's Root Beer leads the pack! I only wish that they would do away with the HFCS? Many people today are trying to avoid this product in foods. Please consider trying to make an alternate natural product one with cane sugar. I feel that it would carry a greater bite.

One of the Best Rootbeers

Whoever said Barq's is there favorite rootbeer needs to know that' "BARQ's IS NOT ROOTBEER" this was actually Barq's marketing SLOGAN before Pepsi bought them out and changed it to Barq's has bite. The reason it is not root beer mainly is because it has CAFFEINE in it, and if you were a rootbeer expert you would know a real rootbeer does not have CAFFEINE. Thanks

Best Root Beer EVER!

This is the best root beer I've ever had! I drink at least one bottle a day! Not only is it great tasting, but my doctor told me it's good for me and the purest the most natural root beer there is! I have also lost 75 pounds (even with drinking 1 bottle a day). You can't go wrong with this one!

i've hated rootbeer my entire life until now!

my girlfriend got Henry's at a resturant one time and i decided to take a sip. i dont know why b/c i've hated rootbeer my whole life. but now i'm hooked. and just to be fair, i've tried every other brand i've come across in the store and nothing compares. the best thing about it (and something others are sorely lacking and i dont know why) is a large frothy head. i just makes it! and having it really cold to.

Very good - smooth and creamy

I think it would be better with cane sugar. It's a bit light tasting, but very good and refreshing. Better than IBC, much better than A&W or Barq's.

Vanilla cream root beer

Weinhard's makes the perfect vanilla cream soda, and a brilliant orange cream soda, but the root beer is creamy like a cream soda. I think it's on the cloying side for a root beer too.
