While numerous beverage categories have sought to build and grow from consumers’ steady rejection of sugary soft drinks, the proliferation of better-for-you sodas has shown that shoppers are still looking for sweet, carbonated refreshment. Stevia-sweetened, zero calorie beverage brand Zevia now hopes to rise to the moment.

At Natural Products Expo West 2023 last week, the publicly-traded company unveiled a rebrand across its product lines – which includes sodas, iced teas, energy drinks and kids beverages. In this video, recorded at the brand’s show booth, Zevia CEO Amy Taylor said the visual refresh is aimed at bringing new consumers into the brand through a modern look, and perhaps enticing those who’ve had poor flavor experiences with stevia-sweetened drinks in the past to give the sweetener system a second chance.

Taylor, who assumed the chief executive role last year, also discusses how her 20-years of experience at Red Bull have informed her approach to leadership and how the brand is continuing to innovate with new products.
