Wana Brands Goes Nationwide in Total Wine

Canopy USA-owned THC products line Wana Brands is now available nationwide in Total Wine & More stores with three flavors of its hemp-based, non-alcoholic drinks.

Available in 12 oz. cans, Wana Lemonade Balance (5 mg each of THC, CBD and CBG), Wana Strawberry Lemonade Balance (10 mg of each cannabinoid) and Wana Raspberry Tea Relax (5 mg of each cannabinoid) will be sold in the liquor chain’s hemp beverages set in nine states – including Arizona, Texas, Indiana, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Nebraska and New Jersey.

The drinks can also be found online at Total Wine’s website.

“For more than a decade, Wana has been at the forefront of cannabis formulation, delivering carefully crafted, science-backed products that consumers trust,” said Joe Hodas, president of Wana Brands, in a press release. “Expanding our retail footprint through a partnership with Total Wine & More reflects Wana’s commitment to growth and innovation, while reinforcing our mission to enhance lives through plant-powered products.”

Ryl Tea Joins with 7-Eleven

The Ryl Company has joined up with 7-Eleven to add 500 new locations in the New York Metro area, New York State and the brand’s backyard New Jersey.

“7-Eleven is an outstanding retail partner for us and our first major push into the convenience channel,” said Ryl founder and CEO Blodin Ukella in a release. “Their incredible reach and infrastructure mean more people will be exposed to all the benefits — and incredible tastes — of Ryl Tea. This is just the beginning, and we look forward to growing together and continuing to redefine what’s possible in the ready-to-drink tea market.”

Backed by country singer Morgan Wallen, The Ryl Company has been growing its footprint across the U.S. via a DSD distribution network that has landed it in retailers like Harris-Teeter, ShopRite, Kroger and Wegmans.

The partnership with 7-Eleven now marks a major extension into the convenience channel, where other young, better-for-you iced tea brands like Liquid Death have been disrupting the category.

According to the release, the initial rollout in 7-Eleven will feature the brand’s top flavors – Peach, Half & Half and its Morgan Wallen Sweet Tea. Each can is sugar free and contain antioxidants and naturally occurring polyphenols.

Leisure Hydration Adds Whole Foods

Leisure Hydration, a canned functional beverage startup, has expanded nationwide via a launch into Whole Foods Market stores across the country. The brand told BevNET at Natural Products Expo West 2025 last week that the natural channel retailer is now carrying its entire line of drinks, including Wild Blueberry, Tropical Mango and Lemonade flavors.

Each 16 oz. electrolyte drink contains 140mg magnesium, 60mg potassium, 25mg sodium, 400mg chloride and 75mg sulfate, as well as ashwagandha and L-theanine.

Perfect Hydration Spreads Out

Perfect Hydration Alkaline Water can now be found in a number of new grocery stores across the country, including Harris Teeter, Basha’s, Winn Dixie, Harp’s, Lowes Food Stores and Vallarta.

In a press release this week, the L.A.-based brand also announced an expanded presence in Food Lion and select Sam’s Club stores.

“Our wins throughout 2024 have only made the team at Perfect Hydration thirstier to double down on that momentum,” said Jared Smith, the company’s EVP, Commercial & Business Development, in the release. “We’re going full throttle across Grocery, Convenience, and Big Box Retailers, to bring our premium, refreshing alkaline water to more consumers.”

The company also touted a 62% increase in sales in 2024 with a footprint of over 25,000 retailers nationwide.
