ChampionLyte Beverages, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of ChampionLyte Holdings, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CPLY), today announced it has signed a long-term distribution agreement with Miami-based Havana International Incorporated and FTZ Ship and Duty Free Supplies Inc. for a minimum of 18,000 cases per month of sugar-free ChampionLyte(R).
The initial order, the equivalent of ten tractor-trailer loads of ChampionLyte(R), was shipped the week of April 12. This is the largest contract order for the product in the Company’s history.
Havana distributes sugar-free ChampionLyte(R) to 16 states, cruise ships, sea stores, duty-free stores and the United States military.
Havana International distributes its products to Tennessee, Texas, Michigan, Illinois, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Kentucky, California, New York and New Jersey. It also distributes to a number of major cruise lines.
“We have found that in this era of concern over people taking in too many calories that interest in ChampionLyte(R) is very high,” said Mark Kumar, manager of International and Domestic Sales for Havana International. “The product is a great alternative to sugar-saturated sodas.”
“The agreement with Havana International is a giant step in the growth of the Company and for the exposure of ChampionLyte(R) to the general public,” said Donna Bimbo, president of ChampionLyte Beverages, Inc. “With increasing concerns about excess calories, ChampionLyte(R) is the refreshing beverage of the future.”
ChampionLyte Beverages, Inc. manufactures and markets ChampionLyte(R), the first completely sugar-free entry in the multi-billion dollar isotonic sports drink market.
