Canadians can now enjoy the taste of lime in their Coca-Cola, as the newest addition to the Coca-Cola family, Coca-Cola with Lime(R), begins rolling out to stores across Canada in the next few weeks.
“Many Canadians already enjoy a slice of lime with their Coca-Cola so it
seemed only natural to include a splash of lime flavor,” said Ishita aha, Brand Manager, Coca-Cola Trademark. “We asked our consumer if this was something they would like and we received a resounding yes!”
The launch of Coca-Cola with Lime follows the successful roll out one year ago of Diet Coke with Lime, which has become the number one flavored diet cola in Canada. Diet Coke with Lime was voted the best new product in the health and calorie reduced beverage category at the 2004 Best New Product Awards.
Coca-Cola Classic, the world’s most popular soft drink is now available in a variety of flavour innovations around the world including C2, Diet Coke, Vanilla Coke, Diet Vanilla Coke, Cherry Coke, Diet Cherry Coke and Diet Coke with Lime.
Packaging for Coca-Cola with Lime is similar to Coca-Cola Classic, except with a hint of green in the Coca-Cola dynamic ribbon, a distinctive green cap and an image of a slice of lime.
Look for Coca-Cola with Lime in stores across Canada. It will be available in 355 mL cans, 591 mL bottles, 2L PET bottles and Fridge Mate
