ATLANTA, GA: July 2007 — Evian® Natural Spring Water, the world’s leading brand of bottled water, announced the appointment of Elio Pacheco as President and General Manager of Evian North America. Jeff Caswell, former Senior Brand Manager, has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing of Evian North America.

Pacheco’s strong entrepreneurial spirit coupled with strategic, creative insight has helped him successfully develop and retool business models during his 14 years with Group Danone. He has accumulated a wealth of experience and knowledge in the North American consumer packaged goods environment and has a proven track record of managing and leading brands in highly competitive categories. Pacheco is expected to bring an immediate positive influence on the North American Evian business.
After joining Danone, Pacheco held successive positions with increased responsibilities including heading up national accounts, category management and finally, executive liaison between Great Brands of Europe Inc., and Coca Cola Bottling in the launch of Volvic Natural Spring Water in Canada. In 2000, he was appointed Vice President North America on Biscuits, based in New York, where he spearheaded multiple successive years of double digit growth on Danone’s pillar Biscuit and Cereal brand, LU. Pacheco stabilized and reestablished the LU USA business into a profit generator and achieved the highest top-line growth in more than 10 years. His success-oriented approach to business has led him to unparalleled achievement at managing international brands for Danone Group.

Caswell previously served as Senior Brand Manager for Evian North America. He boasts more than 10 years of progressive retail and on-premise experience at three consumer packaged goods firms – Danone, Heinz and General Mills. For the past four and a half years, Caswell has taken on progressively larger roles on Evian Natural Spring Water in both the USA and Canada. Caswell graduated with an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and an HBA from the Ivey Business School.
