Chameleon Cold-Brew Coffee Launches Three New Flavors

AUSTIN, Texas — Austin-based Chameleon Cold-Brew proudly announces that it will incorporate three new brews into its product line. In addition to the original Central/South American blend, Chameleon will offer East African and Indonesian flavor profiles, plus a tasty mocha flavor using the original Chameleon flavor, to become the first purveyor of cold brew to offer more than one flavor profile.

The new cold-brew products, just like the original blend, are made from 100% organic Fair Trade Certified beans and will initially be available exclusively in Central Market Stores throughout Texas — which officially launchestoday (June 6) at Central Market Westgate in Austin.

“The reason for the launch of the new flavor profiles is to elevate the discussion in the emerging cold-brew market,” said co-founder and vice president, Steve Williams. “To date no one has talked about the fact that the flavor of the various coffee depends on the region it was sourced from.”

Each new flavor brings something different to the table for the coffee connoisseur who appreciates a variety of flavor in their coffee. Berry notes dominate the East African varietal, and flavors are much brighter and present in the front of the mouth. This flavor is for the more refined coffee consumer, or at least more adventurous. The Indonesian is marked by earthy flavors and is much heavier than the original – a coffee for people who like to “chew” their coffee. The third flavor, mocha, was created as a fun, tasty experiment, adding mocha flavor to the original Chameleon Cold-Brew flavor to enhance the chocolate notes already present. The novice coffee consumer, or those with a sweet tooth, will enjoy this blend.

Chameleon Cold-Brew will also sell the new flavors on its website and has plans to expand them into other markets, anticipating a high demand among coffee drinkers for a variety of flavor.

“This a huge trend in the specialty coffee world right now about informed consumers demanding the best these regions have to offer,” Williams says. “Hopefully, now, Chameleon will do that.”
