Here’s the latest in distribution news across the beverage industry.
Mid-Atlantic Whole Foods Markets are welcoming some newcomers this week, with the addition of CideRoad Organic Switchel and Boston-based Mocktails, a line of non-alcoholic cocktail blends. The new distribution will bring the brands to 44 stores throughout Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Southern New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Ohio. Both CideRoad and Mocktails made their debut in 2014.
Sipp Sparkling Organics is also headed to Whole Foods, entering 27 stores in the grocer’s Northern California region. In 2014 Sipp entered Whole Foods’ Northeast and Mid-Atlantic territories and at the top of the new year its South Region.
Protein2o has announced a chain-wide distribution deal with Jewel Osco, which will bring the brand’s Grape Splash, Berry Splash, Lemon Splash and their latest Wild Cherry Splash flavors to its 185 stores in Illinois, Iowa and Indiana. Jewel Osco joins Target, Kroger, Mariano’s and Giant Eagle as the latest chains to carry the low-calorie, protein-enhanced waters.
- Cool Mountain Beverages is bringing craft soda to Panama as part of a new distribution agreement with Vladimir Batista and the Beyond Brews Company of Panama City. The Des Plaines-based company also has an international presence in Canada, Malaysia and Singapore.
- trimino protein-infused water has added distribution in New York and parts of Connecticut by way of a new agreement with G and G distributors of Port Chester.
