As of January 2016 health food brand Rebel Kitchen has acquired raw coconut water brand Unoco.
Unoco perfectly complements Rebel Kitchen’s portfolio of organic coconut mylk and shares its ethos of using fewer ingredients direct from nature, with no additives, preservatives or refined sugars.
The Unoco team will be joining the Rebel Kitchen staff in their Central London offices to ensure the smooth transition of the new company into the business.
Rebel Kitchen is currently working with B&B studios to rebrand the raw coconut water as its own. This is due to launch late Spring 2016.

Rebel Kitchen launched in 2014 and had a turnover of £525,000 in its first year. Its projected turnover for year two (March 2015/16) is £1,100,000, with the acquisition of Unoco taking this to a combined turnover of £1,850,000.

Through this acquisition we can accelerate the growth of the business even more rapidly and take our products to a wider audience by broadening the Rebel Kitchen offering.”
In addition to its mylks and raw coconut water, Rebel Kitchen has exciting NPD launching in 2016 to widen its appeal and inspire consumers to trial the brand.
Unoco is listed with Ocado, Waitrose, Itsu, EAT and independent outlets. Rebel Kitchen is currently listed with Waitrose, Ocado, Tesco and independents operators.
