Despite many restaurants and bars still being closed nationwide, there’s still plenty of variety in new spirits being released this spring for at-home consumption. In this gallery, we highlight some of the notable new gin, rum and whiskey releases, including a Caribbean-inspired creation from a scotch label, Sagamore Spirit’s second collaboration with brewer Sierra Nevada, plus a pair of releases which will direct proceeds to charitable organizations.
The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve
A non-aged expression finished in ex-Caribbean Rum Barrels, The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve is a single malt scotch made for summer, with hints of tropical fruit, honey and cinnamon. The product is available on ReserveBar.com and other retailers and has a suggested retail price of $34.99.
Templeton Rye Whiskey

Sagamore Spirit Brewer’s Select Rye Ale Barrel Finish is a blend of six-year-old and four-year-old straight rye whiskies that undergo a secondary aging in barrels that first held Sierra Nevada red ale. The expression is available this month in 750ml bottles at a suggested retail price of $69.99.
Louisville-based distillery Rabbit Hole is taking its first step outside of American whiskey with the release of Bespoke Gin, a London dry gin aged and finished for 9 to 12 months in #3 American Oak barrels, the same ones used to age its Kentucky straight rye whiskey. Rabbit Hole Bespoke Gin is 89 proof (44.5% ABV) and has a suggested retail price of $49.99 per 750 mL bottle.
Italian liqueur brand Luxardo has introduced its first clear base spirit to the U.S. with London Dry Gin, imported by Hotaling & Co. The product is set to launch this summer and will carry a suggested retail price of $35.
Grain & Barrel Spirits
TThe newest limited edition expression from Grain & Barrel Spirits is Chicken Cock Ryeteous Blonde, its second collaboration with Louisville-based Goodwood Brewing. This Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is finished in the same barrels used by Goodwood to age their Blonde Ale. Only 1,428 total 750ml bottles have been produced and are available in select markets for the suggested retail price of $89.99.
Catoctin Creek Distilling Company
On June 1, Catoctin Creek will release its Infinity Barrel #InThisTogether, with all profits going to charities supporting restaurants and bars. This limited edition 80-proof release is aged in a variety of different barrels and casks and will have a suggested retail price of $45.09.
Bully Boy Distillers
Boston-based Bully Boy has relaunched its two gin expressions -- Estate Gin and Merchant Gin -- in freshly rebranded bottles. The former is the brand’s flagship traditional gin, while the latter offers a more exotic flavor experience through the addition of honeysuckle cane, juniper, coriander, grapefruit, cardamom, chamomile and blueberry. Both products are rolling out now.
Created in collaboration with online spirits club Flaviar, HomeStock Whiskey is a limited edition release that was developed as part of a virtual crowdsourced campaign in which participants were asked to help formulate the blend (45% rye, 30% wheat and 25% barley). HomeStock Whiskey is now available for pre-order via Flaviar and Caskers, priced at $72.99 per 750ml. WhistlePig will donate 20% of online sales via Flaviar & Caskers from HomeStock to the U.S. Bartenders’ Guild (USBG) Foundation’s Emergency Assistance Program.
