Pittston (Pa.), January 5, 2015: Nature’s Way Purewater Systems Inc., announced Monday that it has named Prashant Shitut as President & COO, effective immediately.
Nature’s Way is a diversified specialty beverage manufacturing company headquartered in Pittston Pa. It occupies over 200,000 square foot state-of-the art manufacturing facility on a 50 acre site. In business for almost 20 years, Nature’s Way serves some of the most prominent national and global brands.
In addition to the manufacturing site, the company maintains state of the art quality control labs, storage facilities, and spring water well sites.
In the past four years, the company has more than doubled its workforce in its 24/7 manufacturing facility. During the same period, the company also made substantial capital investments, including the recent investment of over $12 million to expand its manufacturing capacity.

Shitut has over 25 years of senior management experience. In May 2014, he joined Nature’s Way as Director of Operations. His immediate past tenure was with Impressions Media as President & CEO. His educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Financial Management and M.B.A. in Information Systems Technology. He has served on the boards of a variety of community organizations.
A 30 year resident of the Northeastern Pennsylvania area, Mr. Shitut currently resides in Laflin, PA, with his wife and son.
