  • More than half of respondents a Rochester (New York) Business Journal poll opposed Gov. David Paterson’s plan for a penny-per-ounce tax on non-diet soda and other sugar-sweetened beverages. Fifty-five percent opposed the tax, and 48 percent of respondents said they were strongly opposed. The tax received support from 45 percent. Link
