About Diana Jenkins

Diana Jenkins is a philanthropist, global activist, entrepreneur, war refugee, and mother of two. Diana’s life is the ultimate rags to riches story; originally from a small town in Bosnia, she’s blazed an impossible trail with her inspiring achievements and relentless passion for life.

In 2009 she established the Sanela Diana Jenkins International Human Rights Law Program at UCLA, dedicated to bringing war criminals to justice.  She also produced the fine arts book “Room 23”, featuring 100 celebrities, many of which are her personal friends (George Clooney, Cindy Crawford, Ludacris, Elton John, etc.).

Immediately following the Haiti earthquake in 2010, Diana established the Jenkins/Penn Haiti Relief Organization to facilitate life-saving sustainable local relief programs on the ground. She now remains an active fundraiser for the Elton John AIDS Foundation and the Clinton Foundation.

In 2012, Diana launched D Empire Entertainment, a full service Media/Music label whose collaborators include multi-platinum recording artists and producers like One Republic front man Ryan Tedder, Chris Brown, Sean Kingston and will be releasing the breakout album of flagship artist Asher Monroe later this year.

Diana has received numerous awards for her accomplishments, including the Mostar Peace Connection Prize (previously awarded to Bono & Nelson Mandela), the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Enduring Vision Award, and was named one of the “World’s Top Three Justice Innovations of 2012” by The Hague Institute for the Internationalization of Law.
