LOS ANGELES — Koia, the 100-percent plant-based protein drink that is naturally craveable and nutritious, today announced the launch of Fruit Infusions. The new product line includes three fruit-based varieties: Chocolate Banana, Mango Crème and Strawberry Crème. Available now in select retailers, Fruit Infusions are the first Koia flavors to integrate real fruit with the benefits of a superfood in each variety.
Koia’s Fruit Infusions are made with wholesome ingredients that consumers can see and recognize to provide one of the cleanest, low-sugar protein options on the market. With only 6g of sugar per bottle, Fruit Infusions have almost nine times less the sugar than competitors. According to Nielsen, the top-selling protein drinks have up to 53g of sugar per bottle. Koia took this into consideration during its innovation process to ensure they satisfied consumers demand for low-sugar options. In addition to the benefits of real fruit – Koia’s Chocolate Banana is boosted with maca, known for providing extra energy, the Mango Crème is enhanced with turmeric widely known as the “golden spice,” and the Strawberry Crème has added schisandra berry, a superfood native to China that has been used for thousands of years.
