DISTRIBUTION

  • Attitude Drinks has signed a distribution agreement with Sand Dollar Distributors, which will distribute chocolate and vanilla Phase II across Florida. Link

IN THE MEDIA

  • South Carolina NBC Channel WYFF 4 recently profiled drank as it had increased distribution to the state. The team looked at the beverage's effects and asked local students to participate in a blind tasting. Link
  • The Atlanta Journal Constitution revealed that Coca-Cola is planning to introduce new flavors of Fuze and two more of its Gold Peak teas for on-premise accounts. Fuze will be available in raspberry and unsweetened green tea as of December, and Gold Peak in green tea and tropical will appear early next year. Link
  • Seth Goldman of Honest Tea recently spoke at the Conference Board in New York about the company's evolution, according to MediaPost. Link

  • Dr Pepper Snapple Group has partnered with The Houston Rockets and Clutch City Sports & Entertainment and will receive pouring rights, in-market and in-game promotions, hospitality, as well as media opportunities. Dr Pepper, Diet Dr Pepper, 7UP, A&W Root Beer, Sunkist, Snapple Tea and other DPS products will be sold at arena concession stands. Link

FINANCIALS

  • Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated has announced its third quarter consolidated reports and has revealed earnings of $15.5 million and net sales of $395.4 million for the quarter. Link
  • For the 3rd quarter of 2010, Celsius has revealed that it took in $1.8 million in revenue for the quarter. This marked a 32 percent increase over revenue from last year. Additionally, the Company recorded a net loss of $5.0 million for the 2010 quarter, which can be compared to $2.7 million for the same period last year. Link
  • GLG has reported its third quarter financials and revealed a 41 percent increase in revenue from this time last year at $21 million. The overall growth was driven primarily by new distribution contracts signed in 2010 and overall market growth for stevia sales. Link

  • DSM has again achieved the one position in the chemical industry of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index. Link
  • Plastics News reported on a recent Pack Expo panel and found that experts believed that sustainability in packaging will remain a dominant industry trend. Link
