Review: All Día Is A Day Drinking Dream

All Día Canned Cocktails

All Día is on a mission to make sure consumers can enjoy alcoholic beverages and still party … all day. The 2.5% ABV tequila-based cocktail brand was founded in 2024, but just officially hit the market this May, available in its home state of Texas, as well as direct-to-consumer via its online store.

The initial launch includes four flavors, known as the “Founder’s Batch,” which are all inspired by classic Southern cocktails, including: Lime (Ranch Water), Grapefruit (Paloma), Cucumber (Cucumber Spritz) and Lemon (Tequila Chilton).

Things that stand out:

  • The ABV is the most obvious stand out in a world of ready-to-drink cocktails (RTDs) with alcohol contents that often hit double-digits. All Día goes the extra mile to be even lower than some of the typical 5% ABV hard seltzer and hard teas on the market. The brand emphasizes on its packaging that the ABV allows for “more fun, swigs, hangouts and flavor,” which certainly seems achievable with such a low alcohol content.
  • The calorie count (50-60 calories per can) is also uncommonly low in the RTD world, and All Dia makes sure consumers know it. The company has gone as far as to include an interactive calculator on its website to compare calories of other popular RTDs and hard seltzers to All Día, and even calculates how much exercise you “don’t need” if you choose an All Día product instead – down to the number of jumping jacks.
  • They aren’t messing around with ingredients. Each can features a full ingredient list for anyone concerned about what they’re drinking, and each is short. For example, Lime has five ingredients: “water, tequila, natural flavor, lime juice from concentrate, sea salt.”
  • The bright colorful cans certainly stand out on shelves and on social media, and really get across that this is supposed to be a fun brand, with a bit more sophistication than your typical hard seltzer.

Things to consider:

  • The flavors are very light. Cucumber has the strongest flavor, benefiting from the addition of mint, but Grapefruit and Lime leave something to be desired.
  • Carbonation levels are relatively high, so this definitely leans more hard seltzer than canned cocktail (which seems intentional based on the brand’s marketing language). In today’s world of carbonation hate – particularly among the youngest legal-drinking-age (LDA) consumers – that might deter some. The high carbonation could also be affecting the flavor, with the bubbles hitting the palette more aggressively than All Día’s more subtle citrus notes.
  • The ABV is pretty small on the can, with “2.5% ABV” placed in small text on the bottom front. There’s a larger callout on the side of the can, but it seems to be a missed opportunity to put the distinguishing characteristic front-and-center to catch the eye of someone looking for a new and different product in a sea of colorful RTDs.
