Single Vintage 2013 marks a first for Diplomático – a pioneering blend, marrying three types of Diplomático’s distillates before aging. Crafted from reserves distilled in 2013 and matured for ten years in ex-bourbon and ex-whiskey casks, the result is a rum as rich in complexity as it is in character.
This distinctive rum opens with notes of toffee, fudge and toasted almonds, evolving into a layered palate of dark chocolate, cherry, pear, dates and raisin, finishing with a smooth blend of brown sugar, vanilla, and mint chocolate.
