NEW YORK, March 19, 2026: Many consumers start protein routines but fail to sustain them, often citing heaviness, lingering aftertaste, and texture fatigue. PIILK, a clean-label protein brand by Armored Fresh, today announced its direct-to-consumer launch in the United States.

The product introduces a new approach to protein formulation that simplifies both formulation and consumption.

PIILK is powered by naturally fermented, non-GMO yeast protein. Formulated with just seven ingredients, it contains no carrageenan, no emulsifiers, and no artificial sweeteners or flavors, offering a structurally different approach from conventional RTD protein beverages, which typically rely on longer ingredient lists and additive systems to achieve stability and texture.

Addressing Friction in Protein Routines

Sustained daily consumption remains a challenge for many consumers. Heaviness, lingering aftertaste, and texture fatigue are among the most common reasons protein routines break down over time.

PIILK is formulated with these friction points in mind. Rather than adding functional ingredients to compensate for formulation limits, the brand focuses on simplifying the protein system itself. This approach enables a lighter, cleaner drinking experience that integrates more naturally into daily routines.

A Structural Shift in RTD Protein Formulation

At the core of PIILK’s formulation is naturally fermented, non-GMO yeast protein, designed to support a smooth, clean mouthfeel without requiring traditional emulsifying systems. Unlike conventional protein formulations that often depend on multiple additives to achieve stability and palatability, PIILK uses a single-protein-source approach that enables a more minimal and integrated formulation.

PIILK launches with two flagship flavors, Protein Chocolate and Café Latte, available exclusively via piilk.com. The brand’s D2C model includes a Founding Members program, trial packs, and subscription options designed to support routine-based consumption.

Early teaser campaign demand generated around 2,000 waitlist signups within the first two weeks, signaling strong early consumer interest ahead of launch.
