A defining moment as non-alcoholic wine earns recognition alongside the world’s best sparkling wines.
BOLLE Sparkling Rosé has been named in Wine Enthusiast’s prestigious Top 40 Sparkling Wines of 2026, marking a landmark moment for the non-alcoholic wine category.
Selected by the editors of Wine Enthusiast, the annual list celebrates outstanding sparkling wines from around the world. In the history of the Top 40 Sparkling Wines, BOLLE Sparkling Rosé is the first non-alcoholic wine ever to be included, signalling a significant shift in how alcohol-free wines are evaluated at the highest level.
Awarded 93 points, the wine was described as “An impressive option for a non-alcoholic wine. Crisp, well balanced, with persistent bubbles, this sparkling rosé bursts forth with bramble and watermelon and lingers through a long finish.”
— Elaine Chukan Brown, Wine Enthusiast
The recognition goes beyond category progression; it represents a wider validation of BOLLE’s winemaking philosophy and commitment to quality without compromise.
BOLLE stands apart as the world’s only twice-fermented non-alcoholic wine, crafted using a patent-pending process that builds structure, complexity, and mouthfeel naturally within the wine itself. By avoiding added sugar, flavourings, or aromas, BOLLE stays true to the principles of fine winemaking, demonstrating that non-alcoholic wines can deliver the same depth, balance, and sense of occasion as traditional sparkling wines.
Gary Read, CEO of BOLLE, commented: “This is a truly momentous moment, not just for BOLLE, but for how non-alcoholic wine is understood globally. To see our Rosé recognised alongside some of the world’s finest sparkling wines by Wine Enthusiast is incredibly meaningful. At BOLLE, we’ve always believed non-alcoholic wine should be held to the same standards as traditional wine. This isn’t about removing something; it’s about respecting it. We love wine—its origins, its structure, and its place at the table—and our goal is to offer a genuine alternative for moments when alcohol isn’t wanted. Moderation should never mean compromising on quality.”
The inclusion of BOLLE Sparkling Rosé in the Top 40 Sparkling Wines reflects growing recognition that non-alcoholic wines can stand alongside traditional wines when crafted with the same care, intention, and precision. As the category continues to evolve, BOLLE is helping to redefine expectations and set a new global benchmark for non-alcoholic wine.
Further reinforcing this momentum, BOLLE Blanc de Blancs achieved 91 points, and the still Chardonnay was also recently awarded 90 points, with Wine Enthusiast noting:
“Fresh and light on the palate while still offering flavors of classic Chardonnay. Crisp apple and grapefruit pith, white nectarine and ripe peach fill the mouth with flavor while keeping the afternoon or evening easy. A solid no alcohol option.”
— Elaine Chukan Brown
Together, these accolades highlight BOLLE’s growing recognition within mainstream wine criticism and its ability to deliver structure, balance, and character across its range without alcohol.
